ABOUT
The Horizons Psychotherapy Clinic is a growing center that wishes to bring together like-minded therapists that feel their profession not only to be their vocation but a privilege. The privilege of working with people whom intrust us with their intimacy and their vulnerability in an effort to grow and better themselves and their relationships. Here, you are not a client nor are you a patient; rather you are a person, just as we are, trying to navigate the tempestuous sea of life. We invite you to work collaboratively with us in weaving, through conversation, new meanings and new possibilities.

The gift of therapy is as such, a gift. I have been practicing psychotherapy now for close to 15 years and still feel extremely privileged to witness people's unrelenting resiliency and candidness in sharing with me something of their sacred selves. Their willingness to push their limits and explore the intricacies of their lives' challenges and hopes humbles me and helps me touch base with my own humanity, failings and potentiels.
A gift that I receive from them, but one also that I feel I offer: the promise of a safe place, a refuge through an intimate bond which heals and also acts as a crucible which holds and allows for growth. A gift of authenticity and trust, that challenges but nurtures as much.
A gift of welcoming diversity in all its richness and cultivating it. The gift of hope.
My practice holds on the foundation of working on myself, exploring and challenging my own blindspots as a therapist but also as a human being. This seems essentiel to me in the perspective of not asking those that seek my counsel to work on aspects of their lives, that I shy away from in mine.
The second pillar of my work is in purposefully welcoming diversity, wether racial, religious or sexual, to bring in the concept of social justice within my sessions and insure, as best I can, to provide safety and recognition to those for whom society discounts and hurt.

I feel incredibly fulfilled by my work. Being a therapist feels like a natural way for me to be in this life. Exploring my client's worlds with them, gradually mapping out what's going on, how different elements are connected, how their inner experience manifests in their emotions, behaviours and choices... that is pure gold for me. I feel honoured and privileged to be granted access into people's humanity, and I treat this gift with respect.
I believe therapy is an opportunity to know yourself more deeply, identify your triggers, look into their roots and build on your strengths to achieve your mental health goals. Together we will look into different layers of your experience and find ways to bring ease into your life. I very much look forward to witnessing and supporting your journey towards healing.
I am a therapist but also a human being striving to live my life as gracefully as I can. Just like you, I am on a journey of uncovering, growing and choosing consciously how I want to show up in my life. My connection to my own humanity allows me to meet yours with empathy and sensitivity.
At age 18, when the expected path would've called me to start university, I left on my own to move to Italy. I lived, worked and studied there for 6 years. My studies in literature allowed me to know more about the human condition but I wasn't fulfilled in my desire to connect fully with it. I decided to come back to Montreal and completed my Bachelors and Masters in Psychoeducation at the University of Montreal. I loved working with people, but it became clear to me that I wanted to work in a context where I could explore their inner worlds more deeply. That's why I pushed a step further and became a psychotherapist.
I am truly grateful for all the decisions and turns I took that brought me to where I am today. Everyday I get to share authentic conversations and touching insights as I connect with my clients and accompany them on their paths.
